De Israëlische sterreporter Barak Ravid, die jaren voor Haaretz werkte (ik dacht altijd dat het meerdere personen waren die één naam gebruikten) en nu Axios is begonnen, stelt nu gehoord te hebben (geheime diensten, vanzelf) dat Iran nog voor dinsdag 5 november een zware raketaanval op Israël zou uitvoeren. Dat is allemaal maar de vraag, maar toch? Zie 6.
De echte oorlog is in Libanon waar gebombardeerd wordt en terug gebombardeerd en waar besprekingen over een staakt-het-vuren worden gehouden. Zie 3, 4 en 5.

Een zeer lang artikel, wat ik toch maar in zijn geheel weergeef uit The Guardian. Het vertelt het verhaal van de Palestijnse journalist Wael al-Dahdouh die zelf getroffen werd, en die vrouw, kinderen en een kleinkind verloor door de bombardementen. Hij woont nu in Doha en wordt in Duitsland verpleegd voor zijn verwondingen. Zie 7.
