- Politieke uitwerking van de genocide in Gaza heeft straten van Amsterdam bereikt
Het Israëlische Maccabi Tel Aviv dat deelneemt aan de Europese voetbaltoernooien was gisteravond in Amsterdam tegenstander van Ajax. Daarmee is onmiddellijk een politieke controverse als vertegenwoordiger van een genocide plegende staat. (Russische sportteams zijn vanwege de oorlog in Oekraïne uitgesloten van Europese sporttoernooien) Voor en na de wedstrijd liep de situatie uit op geweld. Dat leidt tot een politieke crisis tussen Nederland en Israël. Zie 12 en 13.
Turkije zou zich moeten gaan profileren, zou je denken, in het licht van de gebeurtenissen. Erdogan heeft Trump gebeld om eens te peilen en wil een wapenembargo tegen Israël. Daar heeft ook Egypte zich bij aangesloten. Zie 7 en 8.
De VS verkopen intussen weer 25 stuks F-15 bommenwerpers aan Israël. Iets voor 2031. Zie 6.
De ontslagen minister van Defensie Gallant is van mening dat het Israëlische leger klaar is in Gaza. Dat brengt nogmaals de meningsverschillen in de Israëlische elite aan het licht. Zij die Gaza daadwerkelijk willen herkoloniseren en zij die vrezen voor de gevolgen voor het leger en de Israëlische maatschappij. Zie 5.
